- Q. If I purchase pedestals today will the
future orders match in color and style ?
A. Yes, in fact the first pedestals (in
beige) we sold in 1993 match today's production
exactly. The black is now a matt finish and matches
our non-scratch texture. Our
latest color is white, we took several months
working with various white tones before offering
such a pure white. Great for weddings or pillars
.
- Q. How long do you expect these display pedestals
to last?
A. Our customers we sold in 1993 claim they
look like new when they place new orders. In 2001
we added 10% rubber to our rigid plastic to make
even more pliable, so you may expect 25 years from
today's pedestal production.
- Q. How large is the display surface?
A. Our standard 12 inch round
display surface is great. We just added a new oval
top supported by two pedestal’s, this new
set up will hold 1,000 pounds. You select the height
and we offer a 450 square
inch display surface for $33.95. We also have 15.5 inch lids.
- Q. What if we have a flood or want to use
them for plants that we water?
A. The display pedestals are 100%
waterproof plastic and the plywood disks are
marine grade, so you could submerge them with no
problems. The hidden plywood inserts help us reach
our 500 pound capacity.
- Q. What if I want to add additional weight
to the base?
A. There is an attached plywood floor on
24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 inch units, so you can lower
a water jug or bag of sand if you like. Most customers
find the stability more than adequate with nothing
added . You can now order 15.5 inch bases for even more stability, recommended for 42 and 48 inch heights.
- Q. What kind of a guarantee do these display
pedestals come with?
A. Every part is covered by a 110% guarantee
for material and craftsmanship. The honest fact
is we have never had a single pedestal order refused
or even a single part as a defective claim. Trust
us, this is our only business and we make every
part ourselves, there is no risk of getting anything
that is not 100% perfect .
- Q. Where are these Displays manufactured?
A. Manufactured in our Snap & Sell plant
on Bainbridge Island (just west of Seattle 8 miles)
in Washington State, USA. Our trades people have
an average of 28 years in plastic engineering and or
production .
- Q. If I don't want 12 or 18 inch that come
in each kit what can I do?
A. These can be combined to make 24,30 or
36 inch, likewise 36 inch can be assembled as two
18 inch. You can make just 30 inch if you like.
A Pedestal Express I kit will make 8 –30
inch for the sculpture trade for an example .
- Q. We own a retail store and want them for
displaying our goods, can we also sell them at
retail to our customers?
A. Yes, many retailers have a price tag
on their wares and one on the display pedestals
so they get two sales from the same square footage.
We promise you your customers will try and buy
them from you. What do we do when someone wants
just two or three pedestals? We figure the price
based on several things. Example our prepaid freight
is because we maximize 10 pedestals in one carton.
If we sell less, the freight is not optimized and
either is the packing costs. Our kits utilize an
even distribution of parts as well, so when someone
wants 2 or 3 pedestals we generally double the
wholesale. Our preference is for you not to refer
these retail customers to us. Instead buy a Pedestal
Express I,II or III and retail them yourselves
.
- Q. What if we find these same pedestals at
a lower price after we purchase them ?
A.That is impossible because Snap & Sell
is the patent holder and the manufacturer, so they
are only sold through our direct sale program and
there is no other source. That is why we offer
$200.00 guarantee if you can find a better pedestal
within 90 days we will pay you $200.00, no questions
asked .
- Q. How fast can I get a kit of 10, 20 or 30
to Miami?
A. The order will be shipped in a couple
of days and will take a week to travel coast to
coast. Our prices include freight and delivery
anywhere in the lower 48 states. Canada is only
a small extra charge . Fedex Express will deliver next day, two day or three day, please call us for details.
- Q. My High Point show is a must deliver on
certain days of freight acceptance, how can I
have Pedestal Express promise me it will be there
on time?
A. In our 11 year history we have never
missed a shipping deadline or delivery, our only
business is selling these Display pedestals and
our owner shadows every single order. Upon shipment
we email or fax the tracking numbers to you for
personal carrier tracking.
- Q. What is the size of these pedestals in
cartons?
A. Every carton is 13 by 26 by 31 inches,
it travels Fedex Ground. Our standard Ground service
takes a week coast to coast and weighs 60 pounds.
We also offer FEDEX Express at a increased delivery
cost. This carton holds 10 display pedestals two
12, two 18, two 24, two 30, and two 36 inch, amazing
but true.
